Ready to understand written Chinese even faster? Heres how it works: As anyone who has studied Chinese knows, any given single Chinese character nearly always has multiple meanings, often with completely unrelated definitions. Take the word "使" (shi3). Its definition includes meaning such as to make, to cause, to enable, to use, to employ, messenger, etc.

Instead of "使" (shi3), our app will give you "天使" (tian1shi3) which has one meaning only: angel. Learning these bigrams first can be a great tool in understanding the general meaning of the individual character.

Learn Chinese Bigrams by WCC helps you learn in a systematic sequence starting from the statistically most commonly occurring bigrams. This valuable learning tool will be useful to your studies whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner.
